The Arts Center of the Ozarks is happy to accommodate home schoolers, but there are some rules that need to be followed.  These are rules that we have in place for ALL school visitors, not just home schoolers.  

  • Cancellations MUST be made 30 days in advance of the production.  
    Cancellations made after that time will still need to be paid for. 

  • Also these shows are for the children so please don't plan on bringing Grandma, Grandpa, aunts and uncles, please limit yourself to one adult per family or in the case of public schools one adult per every 7 children. 

  • If you bring an infant or toddler and they start to fuss during the show you will be expected to leave the theatre at once, you may return when the child calms down.

  • Do not let your students go to the rest rooms by themselves they must be 
    accompanied at all times by an adult    .

  • DO NOT TOUCH the art work, if you break it you buy it.  
    Children are expected to walk through the gallery no running is permitted.

We want everyone to have a pleasant time at the Arts Center and strive to reach all of Northwest Arkansas.  If you have a large group that would like to book their reservations at once you may do so. Just remember the cancellation policy. All seats reserved must be paid for the day of the production. At a dollar per seat we are not making money on these productions and the actors and artists have to be paid on the day of the performance. We look forward to seeing you at our next production and I hope this clears up any confusion.

School Productions offered by the Arts Center of the Ozarks (ACO):
Additional information: Per Marni Hendrix's phone conversation with the ACO:

  • Cost:  $ 1.00 per seat per event for School Productions only. 
  • Because the seats are $1 each, the ACO cannot afford to print out tickets.
  • Each family must contact the ACO to see if tickets are available for productions.
    Each family is responsible for purchasing their own tickets. 
  • Reservations are taken by phone or in person at their ticket office.
  • Payment is expected the day of the performance. The person who makes the reservation is responsible for paying for those tickets even if there are no-shows.
  • The day before each performance, assigned seats are given to the reservations. If you want to sit with another family or group, you need to make the reservations together. Reminder notices are sent when the performances come.
